Tuition, Fees, and Expenses
Total Cost of the Basic Program

Tuition, Fees, Expenses
$7,900

Tuition, fees and expenses are $9,000 for the one year, Certified Massage Therapy program. A$750.00 tuition deposit is required upon official acceptance into the program. An additional $750.00 is due on the first day of class for the tuition payment.

The remaining $7,500.00 may be paid monthly according to a 12, 18 month payment plan. Note that financing is interest-free.

There is a $20.00 fee for returned checks. A late fee of $25.00 per occurrence will be charged on past due accounts over 30 days (NOTE: Late or inconsistent payment is reason for dismissal).

Textbooks
Students should plan on an initial $400.00 for the anatomy and physiology texts available at Yan Jing Supply Store before the first day of class. Prepared literature for the program, (handouts) cost $35.00 payable at orientation. (The price of textbooks is subject to change based on the current market value from the publisher.)
Liability Insurance
Massage student liability insurance is required and is paid for at orientation. The student policy costs $95.00 per year.
Table and Accessories
The cost of required supplies (massage table, linens, bolster, oil, T-bars, documentation notebook, polo shirt) vary depending on the personal choice of the student. The average cost for these items is from $450.00 to $750.00. Sixty dollars ($60.00) for T-bars, fifteen ($15.00) for the documentation notebook and twenty ($20.00) for clinic polo are all due at orientation.
Other Supplies and Services
It is the responsibility of the student to provide their own massage table, linens, oils, massage tools and accessories and to pay for massage services, seminars and tutorials as required, or assigned at the time of purchase. One accessory, the Anitomiken Skeleton, costs about $150.00.
Items Subject to Cost Change
Items subject to cost or price changes are those which are outside the control of the school (i.e. insurance rates, text books, licensure, membership fees, and supplies or accessories which the student chooses. Seminars, massage services
and tutorials vary from practitioner to practitioner).

However, it is unlikely that these items would fluctuate more than 10% per year in cost. The cost of the tuition and test fees is not subject to change as listed in this catalog.

Massage table and accessories, seminars and tutorials represent a cost average projected per student. A student may be able to acquire these goods and services for less or more.

This is the student’s choice and the student agrees that it is their responsibility if the cost of the above mentioned items should run higher than projected in the above estimate.

Make-up Costs
Outside class time in the form of private instruction, workshops or seminars may be required to make up for missed class time, past due assignments and poor massage technique, hand skills and test grades. This is determined by the instructor. The cost may vary according to makeup requirements.

Hopefully, the student will avoid the make-up expenses by attending all the classes, completing assignments on time, and following the program for hand skill and technique development.
The successful student will not require remedial or tutorial instruction and therefore make-up costs will be minimal.
